The Maine Long-Term Care Ombudsman developed this PSA with the Maine Health Care Association and the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Aging and Disability Services to highlight the need for direct care workers in all long-term care settings. Direct care workers are needed to provide home care services and to work in long-term care facilities. Connect to Care jobs can help connect direct care workers and long-term care settings.
